Data we collect and why
IP addresses. When you register a Discord webhook, submit a ban report, or trigger a notification, your IP address is received by our server. It is immediately hashed with SHA-256 (combined with a secret key) and the resulting hash is used only for rate limiting. The raw IP address is never stored anywhere. Rate-limit hashes expire automatically within 1-24 hours. Legal basis: legitimate interests (preventing service abuse).
Discord webhook URLs. If you register a webhook, the URL is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being stored. A one-time deletion token is placed only in your browser's localStorage. The encrypted URL is kept until you delete it. It is never returned in any API response after registration. Legal basis: performance of a contract (providing the notification service you requested).
Ban report submissions. If you submit a ban report, we store the executor name, platform, and a timestamp. Screenshots are processed entirely in your browser (Tesseract.js OCR) and are never uploaded to our servers.
Browser localStorage. We store your webhook deletion token, status timestamps, and UI preference flags in your browser's localStorage only. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers except the deletion token when you explicitly request removal or an update of your webhook.
Third-party services
- Vercel - hosts this site. May log request metadata per Vercel's privacy policy.
- Upstash (Vercel KV) - stores encrypted webhook data and rate-limit hashes. Data may be held in the EU or US. See Upstash's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts - fonts are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com on every page visit, sharing your IP and User-Agent with Google. See Google's privacy policy. You can block this via an ad blocker (the site remains fully functional).
- unpkg.com / Tesseract.js - the OCR library is loaded from unpkg.com only when you open the ban report feature. Your IP is shared with their CDN at that point. Your screenshot is never transmitted.
- Reddit (server-side only) - ban wave data is fetched from Reddit's public RSS feeds by our server only. Your browser never contacts Reddit directly.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. We use browser localStorage for the functionality described above. localStorage is not a cookie; it has no expiry and does not leave your device. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings (Settings > Privacy > Site data or Storage).
Your rights under UK GDPR and EU GDPR
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your personal data. Because IP data is stored only as a non-reversible hash and webhook data is accessible only via the token in your browser, you can exercise your right to erasure by deleting your webhook directly on the site. For any other request, contact us via the project's GitHub repository.
UK residents may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). EU residents may contact their national supervisory authority.
Data retention
- Rate-limit hashes: 1 hour (notifications/ban reports) to 24 hours (webhook registrations), then automatically deleted
- Encrypted webhook data: until deleted by you via the site
- Ban report entries (executor name + platform + timestamp): 9 days, then automatically deleted
International transfers
This site is hosted on Vercel infrastructure (USA and Europe). Data in Vercel KV may be handled by Upstash globally. Both operate under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. By using this site you acknowledge these transfers.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or 16 in jurisdictions where a higher minimum applies). We do not knowingly collect personal data from under-13s. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us via GitHub.
