About ban waves
What is a ban wave?
A ban wave is when Roblox's moderation system terminates large numbers of accounts simultaneously - typically those detected running unauthorised executors or scripts. They often happen after Roblox updates its anti-cheat or runs a sweep.
What is Hyperion / Byfron?
Hyperion (formerly Byfron) is Roblox's kernel-level anti-cheat engine, acquired in 2022 and deployed in 2023. It can detect executor signatures, memory manipulation, and DLL injection. Updates to Hyperion are the most common trigger for large ban waves.
How does this tracker work?
We cache posts from r/robloxhackers server-side every 5 minutes. Posts are scored by recency and upvotes to determine status. This is not 100% accurate - false positives are possible and new waves may take time to appear.
What should I do during a wave?
Stop all executors immediately. Close injectors before launching Roblox. Use an alt account to test first. Wait at least 24-48 h after reports stop before resuming. Monitor this page and subscribe to Discord notifications. When in doubt - don't.
Executor safety tips

Always test on an alt account first. Never run a new executor or script on your main account during or just after a wave.

Close your executor completely before launching Roblox. Hyperion scans process memory before the game even starts — having an executor in memory is enough to get flagged.

Wait 48 hours after reports die down. Detection sweeps can run in waves over multiple days. The coast isn't clear just because a few hours have passed.

Subscribe to Discord notifications below. You'll get an instant alert the moment this tracker detects an active ban wave — no need to keep checking the site.

Cross-reference multiple sources. This tracker can lag or produce false positives. Always check r/robloxhackers directly for the most recent discussion.

No executor is ban-proof. Every executor, regardless of claimed "undetected" status, can be flagged in a wave. There is no guaranteed safe option when a sweep is active.

Frequently asked questions
No. This tracker relies on community posts from r/robloxhackers and is subject to false positives. A single highly-upvoted old post can push the score into WARNING. It can also miss waves that haven't been reported yet. Always cross-reference with multiple sources and check the subreddit directly.
NOT SAFE - threat score ≥ 3.5. Active ban wave with significant recent reports. Stop all executors immediately.

USE CAUTION - threat score ≥ 1.0. Elevated activity — a wave may be starting or winding down. Check the reports before running anything.

ALL CLEAR - threat score < 1.0. No significant ban wave activity in the past 14 days. Lower risk, but conditions can change quickly.
Each post is scored: recency × (log₂(votes + 1) + 0.5) × typeWeight

Recency uses a multi-phase decay modelling the Roblox ban wave lifecycle: 7%/day for the first 24 h (peak threat), 19%/day for days 1–3 (tapering sweep), 28%/day for days 3–7 (cooldown), and 40%/day for days 7–14 (residual). Posts older than 14 days score zero. Alert posts get a 2.5× multiplier; questions get 0.2×. Scores are summed across all posts in the window.
Reddit data is cached server-side and refreshed every 5 minutes. All visitors share this cache - Reddit is never hit directly from your browser. If Reddit rate-limits our server, the site automatically falls back to cached data (up to 60 minutes old) rather than going down. The countdown ring in the header shows time until the next browser refresh.
Yes. Your webhook URL is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. It only travels over HTTPS once during registration and is never returned or logged again. A deletion token (stored only in your browser's localStorage) is required to remove or update it. The server sends notifications directly - your browser never sends the URL after registration.
Reports are checked with client-side OCR (Tesseract.js) and server-side keyword validation to confirm the screenshot contains Roblox moderation text. Submissions are rate-limited to 3 per IP per hour. The count is a community signal - not an official figure. Use it as one indicator alongside the Reddit feed.
